I specialise in visual branding that I have arranged into the three brandmark activities – creation/refinement, rollout/management, promotion – and book publishing.
Through these activities I create, manage and promote new or existing brandmarks that result in authentic and endearing brands that will stand the test of time, build brand equity and increase the brand’s value. I do this with passion, on time and on budget.
The added value I offer is the one thing that can only be bought with the currency of time and experience – more than three decades of brand wisdom. Using this knowledge, I engineer and position brands for the future that will transcend current fashions and fads so popular with inexperienced designers.
I personally face your brand challenges with rich experience gained from dealing with upstarts, mom-and-pop businesses, illiterate markets in the apartheid era and, later, sophisticated national and international enterprises.
My extensive and invaluable experience and unique insight cover a broad range of branding, design, marketing and advertising challenges spanning more than 34 years. This include the advent of desk top publishing, the World Wide Web, the dot-com bust, Web 2.0 and the current world recession.
In September 2009, after six years of research I published my book Face your brand! The visual language of branding explained. This eBook provides indispensable facts and logic for creating a successful visual brandmark regardless of product, service or country.
Having not only written the book on visual branding, I also practice what I preach. In the Zanda brandmark strategy slide show, I demonstrate how I have built the Zanda brandmark through my proprietary sevensentials™ (seven essential elements) of successful visual branding.
